Apple, Cinnamon & Turmeric Porridge

A super nourishing and delicious start to fuel your day!

 

Ingredients

1 apple

Porridge Oats – Gluten Free if you need

1/2 teaspoon each of cinnamon and turmeric

Plant-based milk of your choice

Toppings of your choice! Yoghurt, honey or nuts!

 

How to make it

Chop 1 apple into small pieces

In a saucepan place your apples, 1/2 a teaspoon of cinnamon & 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric with a splash of water.

Gently cook until apple is soft but not mushy.

Add 3/4 cup of oats with 1 cup plant-based milk of your choice, we love coconut!

Stir until cooked and add water to create the consistency you like!

Pour into a bowl, adding any chopped nuts, a dollop of yoghurt and a drizzle of honey on top if you wish!
