Welcome to a true haven on this 4 night yoga holiday in  Dartmoor. Nestled within its own valley on the southern edge of Dartmoor National Park, this tranquil space instantly feels like a place you want to call home.

This mid-week Devon yoga retreat is all about using this special landscape to feel grounded, connected and part of the natural world. Surrounded by ancient woodland and a flowing moorland brook you will be fully surrounded by the ancient and sacred landscape. With vast, extensive gardens that are as wild as they are beautiful and stone circles and secret corners to rest and refresh in.

The property it’s self feels as homely and comforting as the surroundings outside. Recently renovated, the rooms are simple, clean and very comfortable with a mix of single occupancy and twin rooms with en-suite and shared bathroom options available. The kitchen feels like the true hub of the home with an agar and views out onto the trees and gardens.

There are two yoga shalas, each with its own unique qualities. One is within the main house and feels cosy and nurturing, perfect for deeply restorative and meditative practices. The other is within the gardens, its glass walls giving you a sense of space and connection to the world outside.

The privileged position of this home means we are within walking distance of Dartmoor, famed for its vast and wild spaces. On your Dartmoor yoga get away, you will enjoy a guided hike out onto the moor as well as a guided foraging walk to learn more about the land and the edible and medicinal plants available. Your foraging guide is also an expert wildlife tracker with a vast knowledge base of UK flora and fauna species so you will have a huge amount of fun while also learning!

Twin/ Double Rooms – On all of our retreats, twin or double rooms mean two people sharing. If you book one space, you will be sharing it with another guest.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: Please buy a travel insurance policy that works for you for any unforeseen circumstances and with a covid policy – even for UK retreats travel insurance is necessary.

This retreat will start at 4 pm on the arrival day where you will enjoy a welcoming yoga class and delicious two course dinner too.

Check out is at 10 am on our last day with a yoga class and brunch before you go.

Accommodation in Dartmoor

Our accommodation on our Dartmoor retreats feels like a home from home. Recently fully refurbished it is simple, clean and super comfortable so as not to distract from the magic happening outside!

The bedrooms are a mix of single occupancy en-suites, and single occupancy and twin shared bathrooms spread out over two properties. The majority are in the main house however there are also two bedrooms in the building which houses the stunning garden yoga studio. All the bathrooms have showers.

We are blessed with two beautiful yoga spaces here, as well as the stunning surroundings! One yoga space is positioned within the main house and is the perfect cosy and comfortable room for evening restorative and meditation sessions. During the day, this room will also be used as a chill out space. The other is a beautiful garden studio that boasts fully glass walls on three sides, creating the illusion of feeling fully submerged into the gardens around you.

From the yoga studio you can walk into the beautiful woods and out onto the vast, wild landscape of Dartmoor National Park.


Although this woodland sanctuary feels like a million miles away, it is actually very accessible.

The retreat begins from 16:00 and finishes at 10:oo on the last day.

By Train

The closest train station to the property is Totnes, only 8 miles away.

Please book a train time which will arrive into Totnes at any time after 15:30. On departure we suggest booking a train which departs after 10:30

We set up a WhatsApp group a week before the retreat to link all guests so you can then arrange a taxi share from the train station.

By Car 

The property is rural but very well-signed from the road. Please be aware that reaching us requires driving on small, single-lane roads. On booking, you will be given full directions to details on how to find the venue.

A twin/double room is for two people sharing either two single beds or a double bed.

Beautiful Dartmoor

Dartmoor is infamous for its vast moorland where Dartmoor ponies roam its craggy landscape. Stunning forests, rivers, wetlands and tors (rock formations) break up the open moors and create one of the most diverse ecosystems in the country.

Although Dartmoor may seem vast and wild it in fact holds a deep and rich history of human settlement. This incredible history can be found across the National Park and the fascinating stories that it holds. A walk across Dartmoor feels like stepping back in time. With a never-ending number of trails and paths, it is a hiker’s haven and with beautiful villages dotted around, accessible too.

On our retreats around Dartmoor, we take the time to truly enjoy this unique landscape and everything its diversity has to offer. Not only do we go hiking to experience the beauty of it but also enjoy wild foraging walks and talks to learn about the edible and medicinal plants accessible. Our venue is perfectly positioned to do just that, being surrounded by woodland, the moorland brook and walking distance out and onto the moor.

About the yoga

The Yoga classes on this yoga retreat in Dartmoor will be split between the glass-walled garden studio and the cosy main house studio.

Our 1.5hr morning yoga classes will be an uplifting and energising way to start the day and prepare us for adventures in the woods and on the moor.

In the evening you will be guided through a 2 hr class based around restorative, yin and meditation practices.

About the Food

Chloe Webb

Chloe spent her twenties living and working in London, running the kitchens in cool East London cafes whilst freelancing in events catering on the side. She broke up this hectic lifestyle with stints backpacking in Mexico, Central America, South East Asia and New Zealand, always taking inspiration from the colourful food she encountered on her travels. Those travels brought back culinary influences to her creations in the UK. Specialising in vegetarian and vegan cookery, Chloe accentuates seasonal vegetables, pulses and wholegrains with rich spices, zingy herbs and contrasting textures to create hearty, nourishing and delicious dishes. She has a particular interest in fermentation, and you’ll always get to try her inventive flavours of gut-healthy sauerkraut when she’s cooking!


When she returned to London after a spell of travelling, she realised that it was time for a change of pace, and moved to Norfolk the following year. Through the county’s stunning landscapes and coastline, she quickly found a newly ignited passion for the outdoors, as well as developing a dedicated yoga practice. Chloe learnt to appreciate how physical and psychological wellbeing is intrinsically linked with diet, movement and the natural environment, and began to see cooking and eating well as a vital element of holistic health. It seemed like a natural progression to use her nutritious, produce-led cooking and extensive experience in events catering to move into feeding hungry yogis on retreats and holidays.


As well as her travels, Chloe is inspired by the fantastic produce East Anglia has to offer, and sources as many ingredients as possible from Norfolk and Suffolk suppliers, particularly community farms, and even her own garden. By choosing seasonal produce which is local and, where possible, organic, vegetables cooked simply, with care and a bit of spice, become the star of the show. Chloe loves to persuade people that plant-based food can be exciting, and relishes the challenge of converting those who think they don’t like a certain vegetable to love it, through inventive cooking techniques or the right seasonings. She’ll be happy to answer your questions so you can take her veg-led cooking ethos home after your holiday.
