Marie Williams
Marie is a Yoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist, specialising in Vinyasa Flow, somatic movement, Yin and Restorative yoga. Her more active classes are not all about achieving peak poses, but are instead guided with a focus on connecting with your body and experience through an exploration of embodied movement, in a dynamic free-flowing form of Vinyasa yoga – that may take you on a journey towards those poses.
Marie also weaves breath awareness and mindful reflections throughout her classes, to help guide you towards a deeper awareness of self and presence you more fully in the here and now of your experience.Â
In her more restorative classes, she hopes to hold space for you to return home to yourself and to your body, and aims to help you find your way back to a more balanced and grounded centre.Â
She is passionate about educating people about the nervous system and using yoga practices to build resilience, as well as to support the body’s innate capacity for healing. Marie’s mission is to promote the potential of yoga in managing health and well-being and to support people’s physical and mental health by sharing the tools, practices and principles that yoga can offer.
